This is Dame Lillard,

I'm honored to invite you to attend our 2024 Formula Zero Elite Camp in Phoenix, AZ as a VIP guest for one of our participants.

Our team has decided to step up in a major way and invest not only in the player who earned an invite but also in someone from his inner circle. This player can bring 1 (and only 1) guest. This can be a parent, guardian, mentor, trainer, etc. The voices and decision-makers in these young players’ lives are so important and we want to educate, challenge, and invest in you as well!

A few important things to know: the Formula is something that I've built my career on.

Character + Hard Work +Accountability.

We designed Formula Zero to impact the lives and careers of the next generation of great players. Our camp teaches elite-level on-court skills and character development. However, it's much bigger than one camp. It's a yearlong mentorship program that we expect players to continue to be a part of throughout their season.

  • Everything will be fully covered for you - Flights, Hotels, Meals, and Gear.

    • You will arrive in Phoenix on Friday, August 16th, and depart from Phoenix in the morning Sunday, August 18th.

  • You will NOT be allowed to be at camp in advance of your scheduled arrival time on Friday afternoon, all VIP guests will not be permitted to stay at the team hotel or attend any camp activities.

  • We are asking you to attend scheduled meetings and on-court work that will further your knowledge, allow you to ask questions, and hear directly from me, and our coaching staff. This is designed to provide you with more tools on how you can continue helping these young players as they move forward in their careers.

  • OUR RULE: DO NOT BE LATE - DO NOT BE A DISTRACTION.

  • You will have a detailed itinerary and a point of contact on-site to help direct you to the right locations, you must remember that this camp is for the players first.

All training sessions and competitions are closed to the public. No pictures, no videos, no media.

I'll see you soon.

-Damian Lillard

  • 17.33.2.1 Organized Basketball Competition.

Outside basketball competition, including competition involving teams with fewer than five players, shall be considered "organized" if any one of the following conditions exists:

How will the camp be structured (e.g., skill development drills, scrimmages, etc.)? Yes, there will be a mixture of skill development drills and scrimmages. There will be organized competition for the PSAs so as to not trigger anything for training-specific programming but there will not be for the SAs. To ensure that there is not for the SAs below is our plan in regards to the “outside competition” legislation and how we will handle each component.

    (a) Teams are regularly formed or team rosters are predetermined; (We will have the counselors pick their own teams to make sure that they are not predetermined. Any “open run” or “pick up” that SA’s participate in will be done after the programming has concluded for the day for the PSA's)

    (b) Competition is scheduled and publicized in advance; (“Pickup” will be voluntary for all counselors and nothing will be open to the general public or publicized)

    (c) Official score is kept; (There will be no scoreboard or box scores that are kept at any time)

    (d) Individual or team standings are maintained; (There will be no records kept)

    (e) Official timer or game officials are used; (The scoreboards will be turned off and their will be no game officials used)

    (f) Team uniforms are used; (We will use generic camp jerseys for all participants)

    (g) Admission is charged; (There will be no admission charged)

    (h) A team is privately or commercially sponsored; or (No teams that participate will be privately or commercially sponsored)

    (i) Competition is either directly or indirectly sponsored, promoted or administered by an individual, an organization or any other agency. (Same as (h))

Will the current SAs be participants and counselors – kind of a dual role? Yes, there will be SAs as counselors and we do plan to have them participate as a part of that role.

Will there be pro scouts in attendance? Yes, there will be pro scouts in attendance and that has been cleared through the NBA

Is the event being put on specifically for pro scouts? No, the event is being put on as a skill development and mentorship program for the PSAs and SAs as counselors. This is not a tryout in any way, shape or form. Pro scouts are just attending to watch the on-court programming take place.

Will PSAs be getting their expenses paid for? Yes, they will be receiving their expenses paid for.
