What’s up, it’s Dame Lillard.

I’m honored to invite you to join me at our Formula Zero Elite Camp in Phoenix, AZ from August 14th – 18th, 2024!

This is a tremendous honor; you are 1 of only 15 high school or 15 college athletes being invited. We have selected YOU because we see something different in you and want to help you develop both on and off the court!

I started Formula Zero 3 years ago to teach elite-level on-court skills and character development to the next generation of great players. I want to help make an impact on your life and your career, just like my coaches and mentors did for me.

We are a group of obsessive and relentless individuals who do things differently and I couldn’t be more excited for you to join us!

A few important things to know:

  • The Formula is something that I’ve built my career on... Character + Hard Work + Accountability.

  • Everything will be fully covered - Flights, Hotels, Meals, and Gear. You will arrive in Phoenix on Wednesday, August 14th, camp will take place the 15th-17th, and depart from Phoenix the morning of Sunday, August 18th.

  • We are asking you to be ALL IN or all out. If you cannot attend for the entire camp, or you are not sure this type of challenge is for you – we will invite an alternate in your place.

  • This isn't just a camp, it’s the start of a year-long mentorship program for you that we expect you to continue to be part of.

  • You should know that we take this camp very serious, and it’s not always going to be fun. It’s not going to be easy. It will be a challenge because we plan to get the best out of each one of you. If you are willing to make the commitment, it WILL be worth it!

  • Our camp is closed to the public. No guests are allowed to attend Formula Zero. However, we will have scouts from all 30 NBA teams in attendance.

To accept your invitation please click on this link and submit all necessary info.

I hope to see ya’ll soon.

- Damian Lillard

  • 17.33.2.1 Organized Basketball Competition.

Outside basketball competition, including competition involving teams with fewer than five players, shall be considered "organized" if any one of the following conditions exists:

How will the camp be structured (e.g., skill development drills, scrimmages, etc.)? Yes, there will be a mixture of skill development drills and scrimmages. There will be organized competition for the PSAs so as to not trigger anything for training-specific programming but there will not be for the SAs. To ensure that there is not for the SAs below is our plan in regards to the “outside competition” legislation and how we will handle each component.

    (a) Teams are regularly formed or team rosters are predetermined; (We will have the counselors pick their own teams to make sure that they are not predetermined. Any “open run” or “pick up” that SA’s participate in will be done after the programming has concluded for the day for the PSA's)

    (b) Competition is scheduled and publicized in advance; (“Pickup” will be voluntary for all counselors and nothing will be open to the general public or publicized)

    (c) Official score is kept; (There will be no scoreboard or box scores that are kept at any time)

    (d) Individual or team standings are maintained; (There will be no records kept)

    (e) Official timer or game officials are used; (The scoreboards will be turned off and their will be no game officials used)

    (f) Team uniforms are used; (We will use generic camp jerseys for all participants)

    (g) Admission is charged; (There will be no admission charged)

    (h) A team is privately or commercially sponsored; or (No teams that participate will be privately or commercially sponsored)

    (i) Competition is either directly or indirectly sponsored, promoted or administered by an individual, an organization or any other agency. (Same as (h))

Will the current SAs be participants and counselors – kind of a dual role? Yes, there will be SAs as counselors and we do plan to have them participate as a part of that role.

Will there be pro scouts in attendance? Yes, there will be pro scouts in attendance and that has been cleared through the NBA

Is the event being put on specifically for pro scouts? No, the event is being put on as a skill development and mentorship program for the PSAs and SAs as counselors. This is not a tryout in any way, shape or form. Pro scouts are just attending to watch the on-court programming take place.

Will PSAs be getting their expenses paid for? Yes, they will be receiving their expenses paid for.
